Harvest Christian Fellowship (HCF) began as a few couples getting together in a home Bible study. The small group met in basements and living rooms to pray and encourage one another. The idea of starting a church had yet to enter their minds. However, over the next few years that Bible study grew into an 85 member congregation.
The momentum from that initial Bible study quickly spawned new ones, as believers were compelled to share their faith with family and friends. Some, who might have previously been termed "unchurchable," began meeting together in fellowship with believers and hundreds of people have been led to the Lord, baptized and placed in local churches.
HCF has never had a home of its own. Outreach oriented from the very beginning, we've held services in a daycare building, a converted night club, and a government-owned arts center. The Gospel has been preached and lives have been restored, and although our address has changed several times, people have always found us (and we have found them!). We genuinely love people and desire to create an atmosphere where even the unchurched feel not only welcome, but at home.
